What it is

Notes let you journal on a report - a free-text record of what you learned, what you will test next, or context for your future self. Notes can sit at report level (master) or on specific report tabs such as Trade Review.

What you can do

  • Add multiple notes per scope (create, edit, delete)
  • Write master notes for the whole report on the Notes hub
  • Add notes on individual tabs - e.g. Trade Review while charting
  • View grouped notes across tabs in one place

How it works

Scopes

ScopeWhere it appearsPurpose
MasterTop of the Notes areaWhole-report journaling
TabSpecific report sectionContext for that view (findings, explorer, Trade Review, etc.)

Each note has a body (markdown or plain text depending on UI) and timestamps.

Trade Review tab

When reviewing trades from a report, use the Trade Review tab notes to capture chart-specific observations - setups, mistakes, or follow-ups. See Trade Review.

Notes hub

The Notes tab on a report can show master notes at the top and an accordion of notes from other tabs so you do not hunt through sections.

Not tied to simulator state

Notes are your text - they do not change policies, simulations, or report numbers. Link mentally to Strategies and policies when you record action items.

Limitations

  • Notes are private to your account (not shared collaboration unless a future product says otherwise).
  • Deleting a report will delete its notes.
  • Notes do not version-control your Pine or policy exports.
