What it is

The Trade Log is your canonical list of trades in Tessera - imported, synced, or entered manually. From here you filter history, edit metadata, run statistics for the header, open Trade Review charts, and manage accounts.

What you can do

  • List and filter trades by account, symbol, status, timeframe, and dates
  • View statistics for the current filter (same cohort as the list)
  • Open a trade for detail - prices, PnL, notes, tags, strategy name, SL/TP
  • Create trades manually or edit fields (notes, tags, prices, dates; PnL recalculates when exit fields change)
  • Delete one trade or bulk-delete by account
  • Close at broker for open Liquid Brokers synced trades
  • Import via broker CSV routes or Custom CSV
  • Jump to Trade Review for charting

How it works

Filtering

Default list shows up to 10,000 trades (higher limits exist for power users). Filters include:

  • Broker and account code
  • Symbol
  • Status - open, closed, or both
  • Timeframe or calendar date range - see Timezones and dates

Closed trades in a date range match exit date in that range.

Open vs closed

  • Closed: included when exit date falls in your date filter.
  • Open: when mixing statuses, open trades typically remain visible regardless of exit-date filter.

Statistics header

The log’s summary stats use the same bounds as the list filter - win rate, PnL, counts, etc. Deeper analytics live under Statistics.

Manual trades

You can add trades Tessera did not import - useful for old history or corrections. Edits to exit price, size, or dates update net PnL on save.

Sync and import

  • Live sync accounts refresh when you sync from the broker UI.
  • CSV accounts update when you upload a new file.

Account picker shows last sync/import time - Broker data and sync.

Market context

Per-trade market context (labels at entry) is available on the trade detail view, not on every list row.

Limitations

  • Tessera only knows what you synced or imported - gaps in broker history mean gaps in analytics.
  • Close-at-broker is Liquid live accounts only.
  • Inactive accounts may return empty lists until reconnected.
  • Requires active subscription for full analytics access.
