What it is

Liquid Brokers is Tessera’s deepest live integration: you can sync trades and account data with your DXtrade login, or import a statement CSV when you only need history. Live sync is the only path that can show a full balance curve including deposits and withdrawals.

What you can do

  • Live sync with your Liquid username and password
  • Import a DXtrade statement CSV (no API login required)
  • Start with CSV, then add live credentials later on the same account lane
  • See balance, equity, unrealized PnL, and cash transfers on live sync

How it works

Choose a method

Statement CSVHistorical backfill, or connecting before you share live credentials

Connect with live sync

  1. In Tessera, open the broker connect flow and choose Liquid Brokers.
  2. Enter your Liquid / DXtrade username and password.
  3. Connect, then run a sync so Tessera pulls trades and account metrics.

After a successful live sync you can refresh from the same account whenever you need updated trades and balances. See Broker data and sync for what live Liquid accounts show.

Export a statement CSV (optional / backfill)

  1. Sign in to your Liquid Brokers / DXtrade platform.
  2. Open your account statement (or statement export) for the account you want.
  3. Export the Statement file as CSV / text - Tessera expects the tab-separated statement with Open / Close / Financing style rows (not a custom spreadsheet).
  4. Note the timezone used on the statement times (you will enter this as an IANA zone in Tessera, e.g. `Europe/London`).

If your broker’s menus differ slightly, look for Statement or Account statement export rather than a fills-only report.

Import the CSV into Tessera

  1. Choose Liquid Brokers → file / CSV import.
  2. Enter your account code (the Liquid account identifier you trade under).
  3. Set statement timezone to the IANA zone that matches the times in the file.
  4. Optionally set asset classes you trade (FX, metal, commodity, etc.).
  5. Upload the statement file and import.

The first successful CSV import can create a CSV-only account placeholder. You can add live API credentials later without starting over.

After connect

  • Live accounts: sync when you want fresh trades and balances; portfolio growth can include cash transfers.
  • CSV accounts: re-import a new statement when you have more history. Growth stays trading PnL only until you add live sync - see Portfolio growth.

Limitations

  • Statement CSV must be the DXtrade-style Statement export (tab-separated Open/Close rows), not an arbitrary spreadsheet.
  • Statement timezone must be a valid IANA name; wrong zone shifts every trade timestamp.
  • Full balance + transfers apply to live sync only - CSV-only Liquid accounts behave like other imports for growth charts.
  • Requires an active subscription.
